I went to the final home game of the season against one of the already relegated sides Kashiwa. They promptly lost 3-0 in a very disappointing end to the season. This result meant that Gamba Osaka (who when I arrived in Japan were in the relegation zone, with Cerezo near the chasing pack for the league) went above them. Thankfully Cerezo managed to win the final game of the season away and finish above their near neighbours.

I noticed that I hadn’t taken a photo of the outside of the stadium. It’s one of the those UFO type stadiums. There’s always a bottle neck to get in even an hour before kick off. They rely on people politely waiting to enter. There also tends to be a bottle neck to get out (which is a bit worrying). The worst I came across was when leaving the Osaka Dome (watching the Buffaloes play baseball) and everybody had to leave through a revolving door.
