I didn’t take a photo of this Sunday’s pudding as I didn’t have a chance between making it and eating it. It was Tarte Tatin. It came from one of my French cookbooks. The pastry wasn’t too good. Too fragile. The thing became a bit like a crumble.
I was just looking at my copy of French Country Cooking by Elizabeth David and it doesn’t have an equivalent recipe. I think I’m going to have search around the internet to find an appropriate recipe.
