Japan seems to have quite a few bank holidays. It also has the problem that people don’t tend to use up all of their holiday time. I suspect that these two facts are not unrelated. On one Bank Holiday I was at a loose end so went for another visit to Daisen Park.

First up was the bicycle museum. I was a very welcome guest. They put the English version of the introduction film on just for me (with several confused Japanese people milling around). The museum was quite nice with a variety of ancient bikes to look at (and some new ones).

Then I went for another wander around the Japanese Garden (something I don’t think I’ll tire from). Gardens in Japan charge a small fee which is a little different from the UK. It was still quite warm and the garden was still vibrant and green.
