One of the things that I was a little concerned about was the lack of decent beer in Japan. Although I’m sure that there are some very fancy, and no doubt expensive, bars that sell decent beer I prefer less salubrious surroundings. Drinking lager for 7 weeks seemed like a negative of the whole Japan experience. Well luckly for me I found this at my local supermarket (and on my first day here no less).

Exhibit A: Kirin Stout

Not only is it a rather decent stout it also promises to “enrich my precious time” and as anybody knows my time is precious. Every minute spent tarting about on social media is one minute less drinking time.
