At the end of the Philosopher’s Walk in Kyoto, near Ginkakuji temple, is a shop that sells large profiteroles filled with green tea cream. I’ve mentioned these before. When Mum was visiting I had one again. Mum, however, had this crème brulé version. They chop the top off the profiterole so that they can burn the filling. I was informed that it was very nice.
