They are made out of some type of rice flour (I think) and are covered in a nice sticky sauce. They are a little like mochi but not as deadly. Mochi are a traditional New Year&#8217;s food made by pounding rice into a stick mess that is then made into balls to eat. The mixture is so sticky that a number of people choke on it each year.
